Palworld TCG Tournament: Grand Challengers Cup
By Pal Stars

The Palworld TCG Grand Challengers Cup is running at official tournament stores during October 2026. It is an individual constructed event with best-of-one games, Swiss preliminary rounds and a single-elimination top cut. Players bring their own legal decks and register through Bushi Navi. Collectors following the prize cards can keep broader market context separate on the Palworld TCG price index market trends page.
This is the real-world Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME tournament series, not a video-game event or a Pal Stars browser competition. Bushiroad's current announcement sets out the format, participation rewards and champion prize; your local organizer supplies the actual store date and entry details.
Finding an October event
Each official tournament store can hold the Grand Challengers Cup once between October 1 and October 31, 2026. That does not mean every store runs it on the same day. Check the event listing before traveling, including start time, available seats and any organizer-specific information.
A Bushi Navi account is required. The official page says registration opened on September 10 at 8 a.m. Pacific Time and notes that entries can take time to appear because of time-zone differences. Register in advance to secure a place or join the waiting list. Bushi Navi deck-log registration is also required, so have your deck recorded rather than leaving that step until the first pairing goes up.
How the Swiss rounds work
Preliminary matches are best of one with a 30-minute round limit. The event uses Swiss pairings for five rounds or until there is one undefeated player, whichever happens first. The important time rule is blunt: if time runs out in a preliminary game, both players receive a loss. There are no extra turns or extra time in those rounds.
For a first tournament, that makes familiarity with your own deck especially valuable. Practice the decisions you regularly make rather than only testing an ideal opening hand. Ask the organizer or judge about any rules question before the round begins; a casual agreement between players should not replace the published event procedure.
The top cut changes with attendance
An event with 32 players or fewer cuts to the top four. With 33 players or more, it cuts to the top eight. The playoff is single elimination, so reaching the cut is a different stage of the event, not another Swiss round.
The time-out procedure changes here. When time is called, players have 10 minutes to finish three extra turns. At the end of that period or the third turn, whichever comes first, the player with lower health loses. The final has no time limit. These distinctions are worth checking before play because the preliminary-round double-loss rule does not carry over unchanged.
What participants and winners receive
All participants receive one card from PR Card Pack Vol. 1: a random promo from the nine-card series. They also receive an exclusive Bushi Navi flair. Participation is not a guarantee of a particular promo, so do not enter expecting a chosen card from that pack.
The top four receive Lovander – Heartstealer, EPR-011. The champion additionally receives a randomly serial-numbered Jormuntide Ignis – Savage Lava Dragon, EPR-010, plus an exclusive champion Bushi Navi flair. Those are the rewards listed on the official event page; this article is not announcing a cash prize or attaching an estimated resale value to them.
If you are shopping for sealed product while preparing, compare offers through the Palworld TCG bulk orders platform. Buying packs is separate from registration, and a Grand Challengers Cup seat is not a sealed or draft entry: you still need your own legal constructed deck.
Masters League is the next major circuit
October's store events sit alongside a larger upcoming tournament calendar. The official Masters League 26/27 page says top finishers qualify for the Masters League World Finals. Its Americas schedule begins November 7–8, 2026 at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, followed by Pasadena on December 5–6 and Philadelphia on December 12–13.

The same calendar lists Surakarta, Indonesia on November 8, 2026, with further Asia/Oceania and Europe stops continuing into 2027. Some venues and dates remain to be confirmed. Check the specific stop before booking travel; the Masters League is a separate event series, not simply an automatic next round of your local Grand Challengers Cup.
A short pre-event checklist
- Confirm the store, date, check-in time and seat status in the event listing.
- Register your Bushi Navi account and the required deck log.
- Bring your pre-constructed legal deck; this event is not sealed or draft.
- Review the Swiss time-out rule and the separate top-cut procedure.
- Ask the organizer about entry fees, supplies and local check-in requirements rather than assuming they are identical everywhere.
