Palworld TGS 2026: What We Learned on the Show Floor
By Pal Stars

The first booth plans made Pocketpair’s Tokyo Game Show 2026 presence look ambitious. Once the doors opened, the scale made more sense: the Palworld area is a walk-through attraction, not simply a counter with a few demo stations. For the gameplay side of everything shown, our database of Palworld tier list guides covers the same Pals in play.
What did Palworld show at Tokyo Game Show 2026?
The clearest answer is a mixture of Palworld 1.0, physical Pal displays, live cosplay, limited products and playable games from Pocketpair Publishing. Reports from the show floor also confirmed that the enormous suspended Jetragon is as much a landmark as an exhibit. You can spot it before reaching the booth.
That matters because early promotional graphics could not show how the booth feels at ground level. The finished space uses stone walls, planted areas and life-size Pal figures to recreate part of the Palpagos Islands. Visitors are moving through scenes rather than looking at everything from outside a barrier.
The details that stand out in person
Jetragon is the obvious attention-grabber, but the smaller scenes do much of the work. Cattiva, Daedream, Ribbuny and other Pals appear around the booth at roughly character scale. A cage scene, photo locations and a free crane-game attraction give people something to do between stage appearances.
The crane game contains Palworld prizes and is free to enter under the booth’s stated rules. Stock is limited, so a photo of a prize circulating online is not a guarantee that the same item will still be available later in the weekend.
What new Palworld news came from the event?
Pocketpair used the event to keep attention on the road beyond Palworld 1.0. The company teased a substantial feature for a future 1.1 update, describing 1.0 as a kind of “soft prologue,” but it did not announce a release date for 1.1. That distinction is important: a teaser confirms development, not a launch window.
The current game also received update 1.0.4 before the show. Its additions include the linked missions “Beyond Dimensions” and “From the Far Side of the Moon,” a fishing rework, improved base-Pal behavior and name search in the Palpedia. The new mission chain begins around Fisherman’s Point near Mount Obsidian.
Pocketpair’s wider lineup includes playable publishing projects at the same stand. Palworld Online, the mobile shared-world game being developed with Garena, is a separate title from running the existing PC or console version through a phone streaming service. Its announced target is late 2026; no exact Palworld mobile release date was given at this event.
Was a Jetragon Legend TCG card announced?
No individual card called “Jetragon Legend” was published in the official English or Japanese card list during the show. Jetragon is a Legendary Pal and appears prominently in current promotion, but that does not establish a printed card code, rarity, effect or scan. Pal Stars will add a database record only when the official card game publishes those details.
A useful plan before visiting
Start with the booth map, then decide whether the cosplay stage, merchandise queue or playable demos matter most to you. The large displays are easier to revisit than a timed appearance or a limited giveaway. Pocketpair is in Hall 4 at booth 04-S02, and Tokyo Game Show 2026 runs September 17–21 at Makuhari Messe.
