Bastigor overview
Bastigor is a hostile bipedal liger-like Ice Pal introduced with Feybreak, with leonine light-green fur and a brown loincloth. The sight of anything round gives it an uncontrollable urge to punch it, which makes building a snowman its hardest challenge. It roams the World Tree, is rideable, and breeds from Frostallion + Anubis. It appears most reliably around the World Tree (roaming) — also hatches from a Huge Frozen Egg near the tower. In combat it deals Ice-type damage and slots into a party as a legendary-tier Ice unit.
Base stats & ratings
HP 140 · ATK 130 · DEF 120 · Speed 100 · Ride Speed 950 · Stamina 100. Pal Stars rates Bastigor PvE 9/10, PvP 8/10, Base 8/10 and Mount 8/10 for Palworld 1.0.
How to catch
Bastigor has a base capture rate of 8 out of 100. Weaken it below 30% HP and use a Legendary or Ultra Sphere from behind for the best odds. Elemental advantage (Fire vs Grass, Water vs Fire, Grass vs Water, Electric vs Water, Ground vs Electric, Ice vs Dragon, Dark vs Neutral, Dragon vs Dragon) speeds the weaken step.
Best moveset
Bastigor learns 4 active moves in Palworld 1.0. The strongest rotation is Stone Cannon, Iceberg, Rockburst. Pair the highest-power Ice move with a same-type STAB partner so both slots benefit from Ice-boosting passives.
Work suitabilities & base role
Bastigor is tagged for Lumbering 3, Mining 3, Cooling 4. Slot it into a base loop that stacks its highest work value — for example, an cooling and drinks bay line — and give it the Workaholic + Serious passives to squeeze out extra work speed.
Partner skill & mount notes
Bastigor's partner skill "Glacial Fists" activates while it rides on your shoulder or is deployed. Its ride speed of 950 makes it a strong mid-tier mount for exploration.
