How to fight a wild Bellanoir
Open from behind for the backstab multiplier, keep its Thunder Bolt, Tidal Wave, Draconic Rage, Tidal Wave on cooldown by circling, and use the /damage calculator to confirm your weapon clears its 205 DEF before you commit ammo.
