Application statuses
Applying means the organizer has your application. Selected means you are confirmed. Waiting List means the event is over capacity and you move up on no-shows. Rejected means your application was declined.
Participating and Retired
Once the event starts your status reads Participating. If you leave early, set Retired so the pairing engine stops matching you.
Check-in
Follow the organizer's check-in instructions in the listing; Japanese events additionally use location check-in and 2D barcodes.
Pairings
Check your next match pairing and assigned table number in the app, then go to that table to find your opponent. No printed pairing sheets are involved.
Score reporting
The winner of the match reports the result in the app, and the loser approves it. Disputes go to a judge before either side reports.
