Every Dawn of Palpagos rarity tier explained (C, U, R, SR, AR, SAR, UR)
Dawn of Palpagos (set code BP01) is the debut booster set of the Palworld Official Card Game and uses a 7-tier rarity ladder. Here is exactly what every symbol on the bottom-right of a card means and how rare each tier really is.

- ✓Common (C — black circle)
- ✓Uncommon (U — black diamond)
- ✓Rare (R — black star)
- ✓Super Rare (SR — two black stars)
Common (C — black circle)
The base filler rarity. Roughly 6 Commons per booster pack. Non-holo, standard border. Used for starter Pals like Lamball, Cattiva and Chikipi. Bulk value only.
Uncommon (U — black diamond)
About 3 Uncommons per pack. Still non-holo but with a subtle foil name plate. Includes mid-tier Pals such as Foxparks, Depresso and Vixy. Trade fodder for building playsets.
Rare (R — black star)
1 guaranteed Rare per pack. Full-holo art on the Pal illustration only. Contains most competitive staples like Direhowl R, Nitewing R and Lifmunk R.
Super Rare (SR — two black stars)
Pull rate ~1 in 5 packs (about 4 per booster box of 20). Full-holo card with textured foil across the entire card face. Chase Pals include Anubis SR and Jetragon SR.
Art Rare (AR — silver AR stamp)
Pull rate ~1 in 12 packs (roughly 1-2 per box). Alternate full-art illustration with no text box — the Pal fills the whole card. Very popular with collectors.
Special Art Rare (SAR — gold SAR stamp)
Pull rate ~1 in 30 packs (about 0-1 per box). Dynamic diorama art, gold-embossed name and rainbow rim foil. Grizzbolt SAR and Frostallion SAR are the current top pulls.
Ultra Rare (UR / secret — gold UR stamp, out of set number)
Pull rate ~1 in 72 packs. Gold-etched border with the card number exceeding the set list (e.g. 121/120). Only 3 URs exist in Dawn of Palpagos: Jetragon UR, Necromus UR and Paladius UR.
