The pair
Penking + Bushi is the standard Anubis combo. Both parents are catchable in the early-to-mid game — Penking around the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings, Bushi in the eastern desert and volcano region — so no long chain is needed.
Why it lands on Anubis
Breeding averages both parents' hidden breed power and adds one. Penking and Bushi average into the band Anubis occupies, so the species result is deterministic even though the passives are not.

Cost per attempt
One Cake per egg. A Ranch with two Mozzarina, two Chikipi and two Beegarde plus a Wheat Plantation and Mill sustains roughly 5–8 attempts per in-game day.
