Combos for base work versus combos for raids

The same breeding budget buys very different outcomes depending on whether you optimise for work suitability or raid damage.

Updated for the current Palworld patch

Key takeaways
  • Work-first combos
  • Raid-first combos
  • Shared donors
  • Budgeting Cake

Work-first combos

Anubis (Handiwork), Ice Reptyro (Cooling), Mossanda Lux (Electric), Jormuntide (Watering) and Blazamut (Kindling) cover every base need with five bred Pals.

Raid-first combos

Jormuntide Ignis, Blazehowl, Faleris and a Legend-carrying Shadowbeak line cover the damage types most raid bosses are weak to.

Shared donors

One four-passive donor serves both lists. Breed passives once, then bridge them into whichever species the project needs.

Budgeting Cake

Work lines need few rolls because passives matter less; combat lines need many because the four-passive stack is the whole point. Split Cake roughly one to three in favour of combat.
