1. Pick your two core attackers
Choose Pals with strong elements against the content you are farming, then commit awakening and mutation resources to them first.
2. Cover the elements you are weak to
List the boss elements you face most and make sure at least one party member hits each for super-effective damage.
3. Keep one flexible slot
A fifth slot you swap per fight — a counter for a specific boss, or a mount for traversal content — beats five fixed Pals.
4. Level through endgame activities
Tower bosses, dungeons and high-level zones give the experience curve the cap expects; ordinary overworld farming slows to a crawl near the top.
5. Re-check the tier list after patches
Balance passes move which Pals sit at the top. Compare your squad against the site tier list after every update.
