Rare and variant spawns
Lucky variants share the ordinary spawn points of their base Pal at a far lower rate, so the fastest way to find one is to farm a dense spawn circle rather than to hunt a specific coordinate.
Capture strategy
Weaken to red health, apply a status effect, and throw from behind for the back-attack bonus. The /capture-rates table lists the sphere tier needed per Pal so you stop wasting Legendary spheres on Common catches.
Breeding follow-up
Anything you cannot find in the wild is usually cheaper to breed. Feed the two parents into the breeding calculator at /breeding to see whether a combo exists before spending another hour searching.
Work suitability payoff
Match new catches to base jobs immediately — a region is only worth revisiting if it supplies a suitability you are short on.
