Sulfur appears as yellow-crusted mineral nodes concentrated in the desert and volcanic regions, plus certain cave systems. Heat protection is the real entry requirement, not combat power.

Spotting sulfur nodes
Sulfur nodes are unmistakable: pale yellow crusted rock, usually in clusters of several nodes on open sand or volcanic stone.
Desert clusters
The desert region holds the densest open-air clusters. Bring heat-resistant armour and cold food or drinks; unprotected trips end in a death run.
Cave sources
Dungeon and cave interiors contain sulfur without the surface temperature penalty, which makes them a good early source before you have heat gear.
Night runs
Desert temperatures swing hard between day and night. Match your gear to the time of day you actually intend to farm.
Route or base?
Manual routes work early, but sulfur demand scales with ammo use. Any player who shoots regularly should end up with a dedicated sulfur base.
