  • TD02 core strategy — Water/Electric tempo
  • Best 5 upgrades for TD01
  • Best 5 upgrades for TD02

TD01 core strategy — Grass/Fire aggro

TD01 wins on turns 4-6 by chaining Foxparks + Arsox burn damage while Petallia heals your bench. Grizzbolt is your finisher — attach 3 energy and swing for 180 damage.

TD02 core strategy — Water/Electric tempo

TD02 stalls with Pengullet chip damage while charging Jolthog Cryst on the bench. Univolt paralyzes to skip opponent turns; Jolthog Cryst OHKOs at 200 damage on turn 6.

Best 5 upgrades for TD01

1) 2x Anubis SR (search + damage). 2) 2x Wixen R (Fire acceleration). 3) 2x Direhowl R (bench pressure). 4) 3x Berry Plantation (Grass energy). 5) 1x Frostallion SAR (tech splash — optional flex slot).

Best 5 upgrades for TD02

1) 2x Grizzbolt SR (finisher). 2) 2x Relaxaurus R (Water tank). 3) 2x Beakon R (Electric acceleration). 4) 3x Small Feed Box (heal). 5) 1x Jetragon UR (tech splash — optional flex slot).

Combining both decks

Buying both Trial Decks + 1 Dawn of Palpagos booster box gives you a 4-color toolbox with 100 base cards and 200 booster cards. Enough to build 2 competitive decks or 1 tournament-legal deck with a strong sideboard.
