1. Meet the level floor
Attempt this at level 10-15 (first tower) or above. Under-levelling turns a mechanical fight into an unwinnable damage race.
2. Bring the counter element
Ground-type Pals such as Rushoar, Digtoise and Fuddler take reduced damage from the beam and hit the weakness. A bow plus a Ground partner clears this fight at level 15.
3. Learn the punish window
Grizzbolt fires a sustained electric beam that tracks slowly. Strafe laterally and never back into the arena wall — the beam sweeps, so lateral movement beats retreating. Zoe herself rides on top and does no independent damage. Break the fight into beam windows: dodge the sweep, burst during the recovery, repeat.
4. Pack consumables
Mega Health Potions, status-cure items and a spare weapon. There is no restocking once the door closes.
5. Use the arena
Pillars and cover break projectile lines. Lateral movement beats backpedalling against every tower partner in the game.
