Can a child get passives neither parent has?
Yes. Slots not filled from the parent pool are filled with randomly rolled passives, so children regularly show passives no parent carried.
Do passives transfer between different species?
Yes. Passive inheritance is species-independent, which is why a Legend carrier of any species can seed the passive into a completely different breeding line.
Does the Pal Essence Condenser change passives?
No. Condensing raises stars and base stats only. Passives are fixed at hatch or capture, so finish passive breeding before condensing.
How many passives can a Pal have?
Four. Negative passives count against that limit, so a Pal with Brittle effectively has three usable slots.
