The Handgun is Palworld's first firearm and unlocks the ammunition economy — Handgun Ammo, Gunpowder and the High-Grade Workbench. It bridges the gap between the Crossbow and the Assault Rifle.

Unlock and recipe

Unlocks at Level 21 for 2 Tech points. Crafted at the High-Grade Workbench with 20 Ingot, 20 Wood and 10 Cloth.

Base stats

Damage 50 per shot, 8-round magazine, effective range ~30m. Uses Handgun Ammo (1 Gunpowder + 1 Ingot per 5).

Best use

Reliable body-shot DPS on Level 20-35 Pals. Excellent Tower boss opener — burst 8 rounds, roll, reload, repeat.

Ammo loop

Assign a Foxparks (Kindling) and a Digtoise (Mining) to keep a Charcoal + Sulfur pipeline for Gunpowder. Craft ammo in 100-round batches to save UI clicks.
