Merchants in Palworld restock roughly every 30 real-time minutes, the Black Marketeer is the only vendor that sells rare Pals and buys humans, and killing a merchant removes them for about one in-game day before they respawn.

Do merchants respawn after death?
Yes, after roughly one in-game day, but you lose access to their stock until then.
Can merchants be captured?
Most can be caught with a Pal Sphere, which permanently removes that vendor from the world.
Is there a legendary schematic merchant?
No vendor sells Legendary schematics — those drop only from Alphas and raid bosses.
Do prices scale with level?
No. Prices are fixed, which makes early merchant runs relatively expensive and late ones trivial.
