Predator Pals and field Alphas — open-world bosses

Predator Pals and field Alphas are Palworld's open-world bosses: no timer, no arena, but hugely inflated stats and the best schematic drops outside raids.

What makes a Predator

Predator Pals introduced with Sakurajima and Feybreak use the same models as standard Pals with drastically higher levels, health and damage, plus resistance to stagger.

Alpha farming loop

Field Alphas respawn each in-game day (roughly one real hour). Chaining Alpha Jetragon, Alpha Necromus and Alpha Paladius is the highest-value hour of gear farming in the game.

Terrain advantage

Fight open-world bosses from ridges and rooftops. Ranged weapons plus a flying mount let you reset the fight at any point, which arena bosses never allow.

Capture over kill

Almost every Predator and Alpha can be captured. A captured Alpha starts with better stats than a wild catch of the same species, so always try spheres before finishing it.

Gear checklist

Legendary or Grade-4 ranged weapon, matching element ammo, 15+ Legendary Spheres, 10 Mega Health Potions and resistance armour for the biome.
