Eggs, breeding and passive-skill hunting
Bred eggs always hatch one fixed Pal decided by the parents' combined breed power, while wild eggs roll randomly from their family pool. Passive skills are rolled at hatch on both, which is why breeding is the correct way to hunt Legend and Swift stacks.

Use the Pal Stars breeding calculator to find every parent pairing for a target Pal before you commit Cake.
Passive inheritance
Each child rolls up to four passives, weighted toward those the parents carry. Chain-breed the best child forward to converge on a 4-passive Pal.
The godroll target
Legend, Musclehead, Ferocious and Swift on a Legendary is the practical ceiling for combat; Work Slave, Serious, Artisan and Lucky is the base-worker equivalent.
Condense your rejects
Four duplicates raise a Pal one star tier. Never delete rejects — condense them.
Egg-quality myth
Egg size does not affect passive quality. A Common egg can hatch a 4-passive Pal.
