Palworld has six capture spheres: Pal Sphere (1×), Mega Sphere (1.5×), Giga Sphere (2×), Hyper Sphere (3×), Ultra Sphere (4×) and Legendary Sphere (8×). The multiplier is applied to the target's base capture rate, then multiplied again by low health, status effects and back throws — which is why a Giga Sphere on a sleeping Pal at 5% health beats an Ultra Sphere thrown at full health.
