What is the best sphere in Palworld?
The Legendary Sphere at 8×, unlocked with Ancient Technology points from Tower Bosses. It is craft-only and expensive, so it is reserved for Alpha and Legendary catches.
How many sphere types are there in Palworld?
Six: Pal, Mega, Giga, Hyper, Ultra and Legendary Sphere.
Do spheres work on Alpha Pals?
Yes. Alphas have very low base rates, so bring Legendary or Ultra Spheres, drop the Alpha to red health and apply a status effect.
Can you buy Pal Spheres?
Wandering Merchants sell the lower tiers for Gold. Hyper, Ultra and Legendary Spheres must be crafted.
Does sphere tier affect the caught Pal's stats?
No. Sphere tier only changes catch odds — the caught Pal's IVs and passives are rolled independently.
What raises catch rate besides spheres?
Low target health, Sleep/Stun/Chill, back throws, Lifmunk Effigy turn-ins and the catch bonus from owning ten of a species.
