Who is Axel?
Axel fronts the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre, a cult that worships Pals as divine and treats capture as sacrament. Riding Orserk, a Dragon/Electric hybrid, he is the loudest and least self-aware of the tower leaders — a fanatic who believes devotion excuses everything the other factions are condemned for.
Faction
Axel represents the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre. Each Palpagos faction argues a different answer to the same question — what people owe Pals — and the tower fights are how the game makes you take a side.

Why it matters
Tower clears award Ancient Technology Points, which are the only way to unlock Legendary Spheres, the Egg Incubator upgrades and the endgame Ancient gear tree.
