Element beats gear tier
Against Axel (level 45 (fifth tower)) a single party slot swapped to Ground is worth more than a full weapon upgrade — the multiplier is 1.5×.

Re-challenge freely
Tower bosses can be re-fought immediately, so treat the first attempt as reconnaissance rather than a failure.
Co-op is strictly easier
Boss health does not scale with party size in Palworld 1.0 — a second player roughly halves the fight.
