Same-species breeding and why it matters

Pairing two of the same species always yields that species. It is the backbone of condensing and passive projects.

Guaranteed species

No breed-power maths applies to a matched pair — the child is always the same species, so the only variable is the passive roll.

Duplicate farming

Condensing needs multiple copies of one Pal. A same-species pair produces them for the price of Cake instead of hunting alphas.

Passive laddering

Breed two same-species Pals that both carry the target passives, and nearly every child inherits them, freeing the remaining slots for the rest of the stack.

Legendaries

Legendary species can only be bred from a captured male and female of that species, which makes same-species pairing the only route.
