What are the Eternal Ascent trial decks
They are two ready-to-play, out-of-the-box Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME decks — one pairing the Red and Green colours, one pairing Blue and Purple. Like every Bushiroad trial deck, each box is a complete, legal deck plus the learning materials a new player needs, so two people with one deck each can start a real game immediately.
When do the Eternal Ascent trial decks release
Preorders opened on 19 August 2026 through the official news post, and the official Products page lists the street date as 18 December 2026. Treat any earlier date you see on a marketplace listing as a reseller estimate, not an official release.
What set code do they use
The official card list had not published Eternal Ascent card numbers at the time of writing, so the printed prefix is unconfirmed. The first-wave decks used ETD01 (Dawn of Palpagos Red・Blue) and ETD02 (Dawn of Palpagos Green・Purple), so Eternal Ascent is expected to continue that ETD sequence — verify against the official card list once it goes live.
Which Eternal Ascent deck should I buy
Pick on colour identity rather than power: Red・Green historically leans on aggressive attackers backed by resource ramp, while Blue・Purple leans on control, card draw and disruption. If you plan to buy one of each, you get both halves of the colour wheel and a guaranteed two-player starting point.
