Cut the single copies that do nothing on the turn you draw them — high-cost bodies with no immediate effect and situational answers to cards nobody in your store plays. Trial decks include those to demonstrate variety, not because they are strong.
Which cards should I add copies of
Identify the card that wins games when you draw it early and the card that refills your hand, then run the maximum legal copies of both. Consistency beats raw ceiling in a 50-card format because you see a smaller fraction of your deck per game.
Should I add a third color
No, not while learning. Trial decks are built around a two-color resource base; splashing a third color costs you consistency far faster than it adds power. Add booster singles inside your existing pair first.
Which booster should I buy for singles
Buy from the set that shares your deck's colors and is currently legal — Booster Pack "Dawn of Palpagos" (EBP01) and Booster Pack "Legends Awaken", which the official products page dates to 30 October 2026, are the two obvious sources leading into Eternal Ascent's December release.
