What is the Legendary Sphere catch multiplier in Palworld?
8×. It multiplies the target's base capture rate before health, status and back-throw bonuses are applied.
How do you craft a Legendary Sphere?
10 Paldium Fragment, 20 Wood, 10 Pal Metal Ingot, 5 Carbon Fiber, 3 Ancient Civilization Parts, at a workbench once you unlock it at Ancient Technology (Tower Boss points).
What level Pals can a Legendary Sphere catch?
Any Pal, including Alphas and Legendaries. Higher-level targets are still catchable if you drop them to red health and apply a status effect first.
Is the Legendary Sphere worth the materials?
Yes for targets inside its band or for anything rare. For common low-level Pals, one tier down costs far less and catches just as reliably.
Does throwing from behind help?
Yes — a back throw adds a hidden bonus on top of the sphere multiplier, and it stacks with sleep and low health.
Can spheres be bought instead of crafted?
Wandering Merchants sell lower-tier spheres for Gold — see /guides/palworld-pal-merchants-guide. Legendary Spheres are craft-only.
