1. Unlock and craft
Open the Technology menu, spend a point at Technology level 1 (free), then build a workbench that accepts sphere recipes. Queue at least 20 spheres before a catching run.
2. Farm the materials
1 Paldium Fragment, 3 Wood, 3 Stone. Paldium Fragments come from the blue-veined rocks around water; assign a Mining-suitability Pal to a base near a cluster and the stock refills itself while you play.
3. Weaken the target
Fight the Pal down to red health, then apply Sleep, Stun or Chill. Never use a Fire weapon on a low-health target — burn ticks kill Pals through the catch animation.
4. Throw from behind
Back throws add a hidden bonus multiplier. Circle the Pal while it recovers from a knockdown and throw into its back arc.
5. Read the ring
The catch ring colour previews your odds: red is under 20%, yellow is mid, blue is high. If the ring is red, weaken further rather than burning Pal Spheres on a coin flip.
