Promo Soul card value, grading and legality
Promo Souls are legal in every constructed deck and priced on art scarcity rather than playability, with the SSS gold ESOUL-002 in a different price bracket entirely from the PR event Souls.

Legality
Soul cards occupy the Soul zone, so promo Souls are legal wherever standard Souls are. Judges expect uniform opaque sleeves when promo Souls sit beside standard ones.
Pricing the PR Souls
ESOUL-000 and ESOUL-003 track event attendance. They stay affordable while distribution runs and firm up once a wave ends.
Pricing the gold Soul
ESOUL-002 is an SSS booster chase card. Its price follows box-opening volume and sits an order of magnitude above the PR Souls.
Grading Souls
Souls are handled every single turn, so raw event copies show edge wear fast. Sleeve them on receipt and run the Pal Stars /card-checker before considering submission.
Playing versus collecting
If you intend to play, use standard ETD01 Souls and keep promo copies sleeved and unplayed — the play pattern for Souls destroys condition faster than any other card type.
