Where the nodes actually are
Chromite is a Feybreak-only ore, so nothing on the Palpagos mainland drops it. The reliable veins sit inside the island's cave systems and mine tunnels rather than on open ground, which is why players who sweep the surface conclude the ore is missing. Bring light, a metal-tier pickaxe and enough carry weight, because cave runs are long and the ore is heavy.
