What star ranks actually do to Pal stats

Each condenser star adds roughly 5% Attack and 5% Defense to a Pal, so a 4-star Pal hits about 20% harder and takes about 20% less damage than an identical unranked Pal — the effect stacks multiplicatively with Souls and passive skills.

Key takeaways
  • Attack and defense only
  • Stacking with Souls
  • Mount effect
  • Work suitability

Attack and defense only

Stars do not raise HP, work speed or movement speed.

Stacking with Souls

Pal Souls raise the same stats on a separate track, so a Soul-fed 4-star is the strongest possible version of a species.

Mount effect

Star ranks apply to saddle-mounted attacks, which is why raiders condense Jetragon and Eidrolon first.

Work suitability

Unchanged — condense combat Pals, not your base workers.

Passives are preserved

The base Pal keeps its own passives; duplicates fed in are consumed and their passives are lost.
