Buying before you know
Spending on chase cards before you have chosen an archetype is the most common way beginners waste money.
Holding cards too long
Unplayed cards do nothing. Spending your capacity every turn is usually correct even when the play feels small.
Ignoring condition
Unsleeved shuffling wrecks resale value on cards you may later want to trade or grade.
Copying a top deck blindly
A tournament list assumes cards, practice and matchup knowledge you may not have. Learn the plan behind it first.
Not tracking spend
Log purchases from the start. The Pal Stars collection tracker shows what a collection actually cost and what it is now worth.
