Building your first deck
Take your trial deck, pick one thing it does well, and swap in cards that do more of that. Ten focused changes beat a hundred scattered ones.

Identify the plan
Aggressive board pressure, defensive value, or an engine? Write the plan down and evaluate every swap against it.
Curve before power
A deck that can act every turn beats one with stronger cards it cannot deploy on time.
Consistency counts
Play multiple copies of your key cards rather than one of everything. Singleton collections lose to focused decks.
Leave the gimmicks out
Cards that need two other specific cards to work are traps in a first deck. Add them once your base is stable.
Test and record
Play ten games and note which cards you were happy to draw. That list is your next round of swaps. The Pal Stars deck builder saves versions so you can compare.
