What Lifmunk Effigies do
Lifmunk Effigies are green statuettes hidden around the Palpagos Islands. Handing them in at a Statue of Power raises your capture power, which directly improves the odds every Pal Sphere you throw will stick.
- ✓Capture power, not capture rate
- ✓Where you hand them in
- ✓Diminishing steps
Where Lifmunk Effigies hide
Effigies sit in visually deliberate places: cliff ledges, cave mouths, ruin corners, under bridges and beside landmarks. They glow faintly, which makes night sweeps surprisingly efficient.
- ✓Look for glow at night
- ✓Landmark logic
- ✓Fly, do not walk
Best capture strategy with effigies
Capture success comes from three multipliers: capture power from effigies, sphere tier, and how low the target's health is. Improve all three rather than throwing better spheres at full-health Pals.
- ✓Weaken first
- ✓Use status effects
- ✓Match sphere tier to target
Are effigies worth farming?
Yes early, less so late. The first capture-power tiers noticeably cut sphere waste; the last ones are completionist work best folded into travel you are doing anyway.
- ✓Early game: strong yes
- ✓Mid game: opportunistic
- ✓Late game: completionist
