Best Pure Quartz mining base

A good quartz base needs three things: several nodes inside the radius, flat ground for a small production block, and a nearby fast-travel point. Everything else is decoration.

Updated for the current Palworld patch

Key takeaways
  • Node density first
  • Flat build space
  • Worker loadout
  • Storage and overflow

Node density first

Count nodes inside the build radius before you commit. Two nodes is a side base; four or more is a real quartz farm.

Flat build space

Pathing cost is what stalls mining Pals. Pick a shelf or plateau so miners walk short, level routes between nodes and chests.

Worker loadout

Assign Pals with strong Mining plus a Transporting Pal so output actually reaches the chest. A miner with nowhere to deposit stops working.

Storage and overflow

Place multiple chests near the nodes and check for overflow after long sessions. Full storage is the most common reason a farm 'stopped working'.

Cold and heat protection

Quartz regions punish unprepared visits. Keep a set of temperature gear and a heated or cooling structure in the base so upkeep trips are quick.
