Where to find Pure Quartz in Palworld

Pure Quartz spawns as pale crystal-veined mineral nodes in the cold northern and desert-adjacent regions of the Palpagos Islands. The efficient approach is not scouting single nodes but planting a base inside a cluster so assigned mining Pals harvest it while you are elsewhere.

Updated for the current Palworld patch

Key takeaways
  • Recognising the node
  • Where clusters appear
  • Base-in-cluster strategy
  • Manual route notes

Recognising the node

Pure Quartz nodes read as light, glassy crystal outcrops rather than the dark grey of ore or the yellow of sulfur. They sit in rocky terrain, often on slopes and cliff shelves.

Where clusters appear

Look in the colder high-altitude northern zones and the rocky margins near the volcanic and desert areas. Temperature gear matters more than combat gear on these routes.

Base-in-cluster strategy

Place a base so three or more nodes fall inside the build radius, then assign Pals with the Mining work suite. Passive harvesting beats manual routes within a day.

Manual route notes

If you must run a route, ride a fast mount, mine with a refined or better pickaxe and drop a fast-travel point mid-route so the return trip is not the bottleneck.

Respawn and patches

Nodes respawn on a timer, so rotate two clusters rather than camping one. Node placement can shift with major updates; verify against the official patch notes after a big release.
