How to catch Legendary Pals like Jetragon and Frostallion

To catch a Legendary Pal in Palworld, arrive at Level 50 with 30+ Legendary Spheres, chip the target to under 15% HP with a bow or low-damage rifle, freeze or stun it, then throw from behind for roughly a one-in-three chance per sphere.

Key takeaways
  • Prep loadout
  • Jetragon
  • Frostallion
  • Necromus and Paladius

Prep loadout

Legendary Spheres, a bow for chip damage, cooked food buffs, and a heat- or cold-resistant armour set matched to the biome.

Jetragon

Volcanic south-east peak. Fire-type: bring Water Pals and cold-resist gear. Its dive attack one-shots under-levelled players — fight from a ledge.

Frostallion

Astral Mountains summit. Ice-type: Fire attackers such as Blazamut cut the fight in half. Cold-resist armour is mandatory.

Necromus and Paladius

Both patrol the same desert zone at night and can be pulled separately by kiting one over a ridge.

If it breaks out

Legendaries do not despawn mid-fight but heal over time. Keep chip damage flowing between throws rather than pausing to craft.
