Palworld TCG rarity codes explained (full list)
Every Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME card prints its rarity code at the end of the card number. C, U, R, RR, SR, SP, OSR, SSP and SSS run the booster ladder; TD, TSR and TSP belong to Trial Decks; PR marks promos. Read the code and you already know how the card was distributed.

- ✓C — Common
- ✓U — Uncommon
- ✓R and RR — Rare and Double Rare
- ✓SR and SP — Super Rare and Special
C — Common
The base tier. Commons make up most of a booster pack and most of a set's Pal cards. They matter for deck legality, not for value: check the live figure on the Pal Stars price chart before paying more than bulk for one.
U — Uncommon
One step above Common, usually the gear, structure and support printings a deck needs several copies of. Playable demand, not chase demand.
R and RR — Rare and Double Rare
R is the standard holo tier of a pack; RR (Double Rare) is the stronger holo treatment on the same card number. RR is where the first real price separation in a Palworld set starts.
SR and SP — Super Rare and Special
SR adds full-art or extended-art treatment. SP (Special) is a separate special treatment rather than a straight upgrade of SR, so an SP and an SR of the same Pal are two different collectibles with two different prices.
OSR, SSP and SSS — the chase tiers
OSR is Over Super Rare, SSP is Super Special Parallel and SSS is the Ultra Secret Gold Card. These are the printings that carry a Palworld set's headline prices, and the ones worth grading.
TD, TSR, TSP and PR
TD is a Trial Deck printing, TSR and TSP are the Trial Deck's rare and special treatments, and PR covers promo distribution — including the Not-For-Sale event promos that were never sold at retail.
