How to read a Palworld card number
A Palworld card number is three pieces of information glued together: the set, the card's slot in that set, and the rarity treatment. EBP01-031SR is card 31 of Dawn of Palpagos in its Super Rare treatment.

The E prefix is part of the code
English printings carry a leading E — EBP01, ETD01, ETD02, ESOUL, EPR. Always search and file cards with the E: EBP01-001, never BP01-001. The Pal Stars card database, price chart and collection tracker all use the printed English code.
Set block
BP01 is the Dawn of Palpagos booster set, BP02 is the following booster set, TD01 and TD02 are the Trial Decks, SOUL covers Soul cards and PR covers promos.
Card slot
The three digits after the dash are the card's fixed slot in the set. Two printings of the same Pal share the slot and differ only by the rarity suffix, which is exactly how parallels work.
Rarity suffix
No suffix means the base printing. SR, SP, OSR, SSP, SSS, TSR and TSP are the treatments. On Pal Stars every parallel resolves to the one card page for that slot so you are never comparing two URLs for the same card.
Verify before you buy
Paste any printed number into the Pal Stars card checker to confirm the set, colour, cost and rarity match the listing photo. A code that does not resolve is the cheapest counterfeit test there is.
