Palworld TCG Energy and Cost Curve
You place one energy per turn, so the printed cost of a card is also the earliest turn it can be played. A deck's cost curve therefore decides how many turns you spend doing nothing. Everything here feeds the Palworld TCG deck builder at /deck-builder, so keep the tool open beside the guide.

How does energy work in the Palworld TCG?
You place one energy per turn, so the printed cost of a card is also the earliest turn it can be played. A deck's cost curve therefore decides how many turns you spend doing nothing.
Why this matters
You need enough cheap cards that turns one and two are never blank. This is the single biggest win-rate lever. Strength per card without a curve loses to any deck that acts first.
What the card game actually checks
Energy per turn: One placement per turn, every turn. Cost = earliest turn: A cost-4 card is unplayable before turn four. Ideal core: Cost 3-4 Pals, the highest power-per-energy band. Cheap slots: Enough cost 1-2 cards to guarantee an early play. Top end: 2-3 cards at cost 5+, no more.
Use it with the Palworld TCG deck builder
Everything here feeds the Palworld TCG deck builder at /deck-builder, so keep the tool open beside the guide. Open /deck-builder, apply the filters described below, and work from the tool's output rather than a remembered list.
