Eggs, incubators and hatch times in Palworld

Every bred egg lands in an Egg Incubator, and the incubator's temperature decides how fast it hatches. Matching the environment to the egg type cuts hatch time from hours to minutes.

Egg types

Eggs come in Common, Damp, Dragon, Frozen, Scorching, Verdant and Electric variants, plus Huge versions that hatch higher-tier Pals. Bred eggs always match the child species, while wild eggs found in the world are random within their type.

Temperature control

Place a Heater next to the incubator for Scorching and Dragon eggs, and a Cooler for Frozen and Damp eggs. When the incubator reads the correct temperature, the hatch timer runs at full speed; a mismatch multiplies the wait.

Batch hatching

Build several incubators in one temperature-controlled room and rotate eggs through them, so a full farm cycle never waits on a single hatch slot.

Server settings

On private worlds and dedicated servers, the incubation-speed setting can be lowered so each egg hatches in minutes — the standard approach for passive-skill reroll grinds.
