How do you breed Pals in Palworld?

Build a Breeding Farm, place one male and one female Pal inside, put Cake in the farm's chest, collect the egg they lay, and hatch it in an Egg Incubator.

How long does breeding take in Palworld?

An egg appears within a few in-game minutes of placing a fed pair, and hatching takes anywhere from a couple of minutes to several hours depending on egg tier and whether the incubator temperature matches the egg.

Do parent stats carry to the child?

Passive skills are inherited from the merged pool of both parents, but IV-style stats are re-rolled each hatch. Breed for passives first, then raise stats with the Pal Essence Condenser and Statue of Power.

Can you breed legendary Pals in Palworld?

Yes. Legendaries such as Jetragon, Frostallion, Necromus and Paladius can be bred with a same-species pair once you have captured a male and a female, and the Legend passive can be bridged to any species through a breeding chain.

What is the fastest way to breed a specific Pal?

Use the Pal Stars breeding calculator at /breeding to reverse-lookup parent pairs for your target Pal, then keep one dedicated Breeding Farm per target species so Cake is never split across projects.
